Spherical roller bearings are bearings for highest loads and contain two rows of symmetric barrel-shaped rollers which adjust automatically without force in the hollow-ball outer raceway. Based on this design, shaft deflections and alignment errors can be compensated.
Spherical roller bearings are provided with the maximum number of rollers with highest diameter and high length. Uniform stress distribution and high load-carrying capacities are archieved by the close osculation between rollers and raceways. The standard designs of spherical roller bearings are CC designs, thus E will not be written separately.
Spherical roller bearings are provided with cylindrical and conical bores. In addition, they are provided with an lubrication ring groove and lubrication bores at the outer race without any additional identification being made.
